Jeff Fairbanks: Composer in Residence

Resident composer, trombonist Jeff Fairbanks will give a presentation on the unique compositional process used during his residency at Flushing Town Hall, administered by Exploring the Metropolis and funded by Con Edison. He will include a brief performance of the work in progress, with trombone and piri (Korean oboe). Refreshments will follow. Part of Symphony Space’s 2013 Composers NOW Festival.
