For Families: Flushing Town Hall offers its first Sculpture Camp during Spring Break, for children ages 7-15. Students will work with sculptor Chun-Sen Yang using recycled materials to create sculptures. Starts at 10:00 AM.

Sat Feb 8th - Sun Mar 30th The New Vision - KOREAN FOLK PAINTING EXHIBITION
Korean folk painting, also called Minhwa, truthfully expresses the life and thoughts of Koreans with great wit. It is also used as a symbol of good fortune for the New Year. This exhibition will showcase 60 artworks from Baraem Art Research Institute in Korea and will give you a chance to experience the beauty of Korean folk paintings.

For Families: Develop your green thumb, learn about bee-keeping and the importance of clean waterways while making sculptures, jewelry and art out of recycled materials. Starts at 1:00 PM.
Sat Apr 26th QJOG Spring Jazz Festival
For Families: The Second Annual Queens Jazz OverGround Spring Jazz Festival features performers from around the borough of Queens, from jazz legends to rising artists. The afternoon will also feature masterclasses by top music educators, and performances by local middle and high school jazz ensembles. Starts at 12:00 PM.

Sun May 4th Elena Moon Park & Friends
For Families: This performance features Korean-American mandolinist, violinist, and ace trumpeter Elena Moon Park, a frequent Dan Zanes collaborator, who mixes Asian languages with English in Japanese sea shanties, Tibetan jump-rope rhymes, Korean harvest sing-alongs and Taiwanese train songs. Starts at 1:00 PM.

For Families: Mother's Day concert featuring a variety of music and dance. Starts at 6:00 PM.
Sun May 18th Interactive Arts: Ologunde
For Families: Learn to play Afro-Brazilian percussion! Master percussionist Dende will teach you proper technique, exercises, and traditional rhythms. Children with adults welcome. Drums provided. Starts at 1:00 PM.

For Families: Ologunde celebrates the rich Afro-Brazilian culture of Salvador, Bahia through a diverse repertoire of music, dance and martial arts. Ologunde will perform a diverse repertoire which includes candomble, capoeira, maculele and samba de roda. Part of Queens College, Year of Brazil. Starts at 2:15 PM.
Wed May 21st - Thu May 22nd Once on this Island
For Families: MUSICAL PERFORMANCE BY JHS 189 STUDENTS Set in the Caribbean, Once on This Island, tells the story of a peasant girl who brings together the people of her island through love and forgiveness. Starts at 6:00 PM.

For Families: Pan Asian Repertory Theatre presents a staged reading of A Dream of Red Pavilions, a world premiere adapted by Jeremy Tiang from the classic Chinese novel by Cao Xueqin, co-directed by Lu Yu and Tisa Chang. Starts at 4:00 PM.
