Flushing Town Hall COVID Safety Policy

Due to the waning of the public health emergency caused by the COVID-19 Pandemic, Flushing Town Hall has decided to relax our COVID Safety Policy. However, an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 remains in any public space where people are present. By attending an event at Flushing Town Hall, you accept this risk and agree to help mitigate it by following our health and safety protocols. This policy is subject to change at any time, should we determine that there is a need for more stringent policies.

Vaccination:

Vaccination is still recommended for all individuals to protect against COVID-19.
However, artists, audiences, rental clients, and visitors are no longer required to show proof of vaccination or negative Covid-19 test results to enter Flushing Town Hall.
Flushing Town Hall staff are still required to be fully vaccinated.

Masks:

Masks are still recommended for all individuals to protect against COVID-19
However, wearing masks is no longer required to enter Flushing Town Hall

Social Distancing:

Flushing Town Hall is currently operating at full capacity, which means that social distancing of 6 ft between individuals may not be possible at some public events.
Guests of Flushing Town Hall should be aware that this poses an increased risk for the transmission of COVID-19 and other airborne infections. By entering Flushing Town Hall, you acknowledge that you accept this risk, and that Flushing Town Hall cannot be held liable for the transmission of any disease.

Cleaning and Hygiene:

All staff must continue to follow CDC-recommended hygiene practices around hand-washing and sanitization. All guests are recommended to continue to practice good hygiene, especially effective hand-washing, which is an important tool to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 and other infectious diseases.
Flushing Town Hall will continue to maintain CDC-recommended cleaning protocols for the building following all public and rental events.
