Flushing Town Hall needs your support in order to survive, thrive, and grow its programs that bring diverse communities together through the arts, and educate the next generation of citizens. We hope you will consider a contribution. Your gift, no matter how small or large, will go a long way toward insuring that Flushing Town Hall is able to continue to bring Global Arts to this Global Community.
Your contribution will
- support local artists through presenting their work.
- bring low-income school children to award-winning curriculum-based arts education programs.
- bring the arts into Senior centers, where a workshop or performance can enrich the lives of people who are no longer able to get out into the world on their own.
- celebrate the diverse immigrant cultures around you.
- insure that Queens residents don't have to travel into Manhattan or Brooklyn to have a meaningful artistic experience.
Whether you are a generous individual, or you represent a corporation or foundation interested in giving back to the community, we'd love to talk with you about how your donation can help us do better. There are many ways to give, so please consider a gift today.
Adopt an event
Generous supporters of Flushing Town Hall often "adopt" an event, typically in increments of $3,000 per program. Some supporters combine their efforts and encourage friends or local business to chip in (ie: 10 friends at $300 each = $3,000; 2 friends at $1,500 each = $3,000). This enables us to keep prices low (sometimes FREE!), and cover many of the hidden costs of a program such as, artist hospitality, lodging for out-of-town or international performers, marketing, technical support, such as lighting and sound, equipment rental, staffing, etc.
For details, on how you can "Adopt" an Event, and the related benefits you will receive, please contact Ellen Kodadek, Executive and Artistic Director, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Yellow School Bus
Help school children and seniors attend the Arts! Our Yellow School Bus initiative provides FREE or $2 tickets to school children and seniors who would not otherwise be able to afford our Education performances and workshops. Every $6.50 we raise supports one child to participate in our Arts programming. You can support a class, a grade or a program, in increments of $6.50 (ie: $65.00 will support 10 children/seniors). You can select the school or senior center, or we can select those with the greatest need.
For details, on our Yellow School Bus initiative, please contact Ellen Kodadek, Executive and Artistic Director, email@example.com, or Gabrielle Hamilton, Director of Education and Public Programs at firstname.lastname@example.org
