Dori was raised in California.  She moved to New York to study fashion at Parson's School of Design.  Her first job in the industry was with Ralph Lauren.  Owner and designer of dori lloyd. a women's clothing studio. Her first collection was featured in I Magnin's speciality store in all 6 front windows.  She sold to high-end speciality stores in the United States.  Renting a second home in  Pennsylvania began a period of producing small pieces of furniture and a line of Sculptural Hooks.  Now living again back in Northern California, and still designing.
