Community Arts Grantee: Rockaway Chamber Music

Our first concert on June 1st will be chamber music with two trombones, two violas, and two cellos. There will be three world premieres by Clarice Jensen and T. J. Robinson celebrating the natural beauty and sounds of Rockaway.

June 15th will be chamber music for string quartet and bassoon.

July 13th will be chamber music for string quintet (with double bass).

August 10th will be chamber music for percussion and cello with a world premiere by John Hadfield. Fourteen youth from RISE’s Shore Corps will be performing alongside Shane Shanahan and me on a piece called “Ricefall.” We will have one rehearsal open to the public on Wednesday August 13th from 10am - noon.
