Join us for an energetic and interactive Afro-Venezuelan Tambor Workshop, a vibrant celebration of rhythm, culture, and community! This hands-on musical experience invites people of all ages to explore the rich traditions of Afro-Venezuelan music through its powerful drums and dynamic rhythms.
Led by Venezuelan musicians and culture bearers, the workshop will introduce participants to traditional instruments such as the cumaco, campana, and maracas and various regional styles of tambor music. Attendees will not only learn about the cultural roots and significance of these sounds, but also have the chance to participate and play the instruments themselves.
Bring your curiosity, your rhythm, and your friends! No experience necessary. Just come ready to move, learn, and connect with the spirit of tambor.
