*Please note that this workshop is a separate event from Treehouse Shakers presents Sail Away, with a ticket price of $5 for all participants unless the child is under 12 months.*
Treehouse Shakers' Artistic Director Mara McEwin, and Writer/Director of Sail Away, will lead families on a sailing themed arts workshop, sure to engage and delight even the youngest of family members. Participants will make simple stick puppets, that tie into the characters from the performance of Sail Away. Through the storytelling with simple-stories, nursery rhymes and songs, toddlers will have a chance to use their own voice, body, and imagination. Toddlers will also be invited to play along with their newly made puppets. For nearly 30 years, Mara has been leading arts workshops for the very young child across the country.
