Information Sessions
Join an online or in person info session to learn about the GO Queens Grant and Arts Grants for Queens programs. FTH staff will review guidelines, grant cycle schedules, and best application practices. RSVPs are required.
Please note: First-time applicants are required to attend an information session or watch an information session recording before applying. Any one member of an organization or artist group may attend/watch an info session on behalf of their group. Artists and organizations who have applied in the last three years are not required to attend, although we suggest joining us to learn more about the program and to have your questions answered. Any questions, please email Melissa Velasquez, Manager of Arts Services: mvelasquez@flushingtownhall.org.
Upcoming Information Sessions:
All scheduled Information Sessions for 2026 have passed. Please check this webpage in September for an updated 2027 Information Session schedule.
Office Hours, Drop-In Working Sessions, and One-on-One Applicant Review Days
As the deadline approaches, we will be offering a variety of opportunities to strengthen your application:
Office Hours: Once applications go live, we'll be offering Office Hours via Zoom. Pop in to get any questions answered about either application. Please note that Office Hours are not meant for receiving personal application feedback, but rather for getting quick application questions answered. If you'd like an in-depth feedback session going over your application, please sign up for a One-on-One Application Review Day. We also encourage applicants to attend/watch an Information Session before attending Office Hours, as a lot of general grant questions can be answered through the presentation. A schedule of official Office Hours will be posted here in October.
Drop-In Working Sessions: Flushing Town Hall will be hosting in-person drop-in working sessions where applicants can dedicate time to work on their application, bounce ideas off of other applicants, and ask a Flushing Town Hall team member questions for extra support. A schedule of Drop-In Sessions will be posted here in October.
Have a space that can host a Drop-In Session? Please email Melissa Velasquez at mvelasquez@flushingtownhall.org.
One-on-One Applicant Review Days: 25-minute slots throughout the day to provide feedback and answer any specific questions you may have about your application draft. A draft of your application must be completed prior to your review appointment in order for us to provide the most helpful feedback. All 25-minute slots will be available on a first come, first serve basis one week before the intended meeting date and will be held virtually over Zoom. A schedule of One-on-One Applicant Review Days will be posted here in October.
