Caryn Cooper

Caryn is a dance administrator, educator and performer from Long Island, NY. She began her dance training at a young age. She studied ballet in the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and tap dance for ten years and later went on to work with various choreographers and perform in venues in the New York City area such as Lincoln Center, Central Park, Radio City Music Hall and the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts. As a teaching artist, Caryn has taught dance classes for older adults at various senior centers throughout Long Island and Queens. In addition, as a fitness instructor, she is certified in Zumba Gold and Silver Sneakers for older adults and teaches Zumbinia music and movement class for young kids and their caregivers. Caryn holds her MA in Dance Education from New York University and her BFA in Arts Administration from LIU Post.
