Flushing Town Hall and NYC Council Member Daniel Dromm co-present the LGBTQ Pride at Queens Center Mall (90-15 Queens Blvd. Queens NY 11373). This is an annual event to celebrate the beginning of pride month to acknowledge the contributions of the LGBTQ+ community in Queens. This year's event will honor NYC Speaker Corey Johnson, and present a special performance by J. Hoard.

J. Hoard is a Brooklyn-based artist. In one performance you are given the core of the Black church and the allure of “The Great White Way” (Broadway). His original compositions and arrangements easily shift genre to articulate his vivid songwriting. This eclecticism has yielded collaborations with artists such as Black Coffee, Brasstracks, and hip-hop royalty Jean Grae & Quelle Chris. Additionally, he has worked closely with a host of jazz/experimental artists such as Sonnymoon, Javier Santiago, Jose James, and TheLessonGK. Furthermore, J. Hoard is a writer and singer on Chance the Rapper’s Grammy award-winning “No Problem” on the Grammy award-winning album “Coloring Book”.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, space is limited. To RSVP, please email: jsanchez@council.nyc.gov.
If you are unable to join us in person, the event will be streamed on Daniel Dromm's Facebook Page

This event is supported in part by funding from New York City Council Member Daniel Dromm.
