Join us in the midst of the holiday season and reconnect with poetry with Music from China. Known for presenting music in traditional, contemporary and popular styles, Music from China's quintet of Chinese strings – erhu, pipa, ruan, zheng – and Western flute performs music inspired by the great poets of the Tang, Ming, Song dynasties, with some pop culture mixed in. As arrangements of ancient melodies or modern creative works, they express the sentiments of timeless poetry.

This concert is funded by NYSCA's Restart NY: Rapid Live Performance Grant.

LOCATION:  Flushing Town Hall Theater
