Flushing Town Hall has teamed up with NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to offer a FREE workshop to promote mental health awareness in Asian American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander communities.

This workshop will be led by Community Engagement and Training Specialist, Jiaying Wang.
FTH is providing refreshments, and everyone who completes the learning will receive a certificate from Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
Participants will learn:
• The history of the AANHPI community and how to access local AANHPI resources
• To identify signs of mental health decline and when professional help is needed
• To combat the stigma of mental illness
• To enable early intervention through recognition
• About community resilience action plans
The workshop is open to all, including:
• Community members
• Faith and business leaders
• Mental health professionals and health care providers, including nurses
• School and college staff and students
