Trumpeter Wallace Roney Jr. is a rising force in jazz known for his dynamic performances and deep connection to the tradition. The son of acclaimed artists Wallace Roney Sr. and Geri Allen, he was shaped by influences including Miles Davis and Freddie Hubbard before graduating from Oberlin Conservatory. Roney Jr. has performed with celebrated artists such as Chick Corea, Jimmy Heath, and Ornette Coleman, and is now a sought-after presence on the New York and New Jersey jazz scene.
