Melissa Velasquez is a Colombian-American arts administrator and illustrator from Queens, New York. She is currently the Manager of Arts Services at Flushing Town Hall, where she oversees FTH’s regrant programs for Queens-based artists and organizations, including the Arts Grants for Queens and GO Queens Grant. 

Melissa first joined Flushing Town Hall in October 2023 as the Arts Services Associate and has previously held roles at Park Avenue Armory, Teen Art Salon, and Lower Manhattan Cultural Council. She received a BFA in Illustration from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
