Many individuals face different forms of discomfort - whether through verbal or physical practices of violence. Recent occurrences pronounce the importance of bodily autonomy and the need for a safe, non-violent environment. We will reclaim the communal space of public streets as a place for healing and informal protest. The show will focus on resilience through non-violence, as it relates to public safety, gun safety, and the egregious rulings of Roe vs. Wade.

We will be joined by visual artists: Nafisa Ferdous, Adriana Taboada, Eric Chung, Martial Davis, Cynthia Alberto, Ron Hall and Elliot Johnson, and performers: Too Many Leaders, Gender Splendor, Meka J Woods, Zora Crews and katrina sotera. Each visual artist will bring in their own original interpretation of the topic of non-violence, and will vary between different forms of communal weaving, digital drawings, photography, painting and graphite illustrations. Musicians and Spoken Word artists will serenade and amp up visitors with indie rock, punk rock, R&B and spoken word.

Our community partners are The Connected Chef, Asian Americans For Equality, Safe Walx, Voces Latinas and South Queens Women's March -- each of whom will table or provide a workshop.
