Summer Artist Party

Celebrate with us at Flushing Town Hall's annual Summer Artist Party! This event brings together artists of all disciplines from across Queens, honoring the vibrant community that makes up Flushing Town Hall - our 2026 grantees, teaching artists, performers, technical artists, and everyone who has connected with our programming this year! Members of the Flushing Town Hall team will also be present to talk more about FTH and our resources available to artists.
Enjoy a night of:
- Free artist headshots starting at 6pm by Argenis Apolinario – headshots will be limited and first come, first serve, so arrive early!
- An art supply swap by Spare Arts of Queens Collaborative! As artists, we all have a bin—or two, or three—of supplies from old projects collecting dust in our apartments. Instead of pushing them from corner to corner (or tossing them in the trash) bring them to our station where you can swap them with other artists. It's the perfect no-pressure, no-cost way to try something totally new! All art/craft supplies in good condition are welcome. Any supplies leftover at the end of the night will be donated to our ongoing creative reuse programming and distributed to other artists across Queens.
- A participatory screen-printing workshop with Mobile Print Power at Flushing Town Hall that engages questions of cultural mapping, building community archives, and connecting creatively in Queens!
- The debut of the Queens Culture Connect – your one-stop digital hub for everything arts and culture in Queens, connecting artists, collectives, organizations, and opportunities in a single centralized space with designers Ouss Ouadani and Nolen Phya.
- A live musical performance by Fabio Puentes y Su Tremendo Lío to end the night!
This event will be taking place in our gallery and garden space. Drinks and light bites will be served. Beer for this event is generously donated by Singlecut Beersmiths QNS - Queens proud since 2012!
