Join JH Art Talks on Wednesday, November 29, at 8:00 pm for an artist talk at Espresso 77 cafe at 35-57 77th St, Jackson Heights, NY 11372.
You’re invited to arrive around 7pm, settle in with a drink and/or food, and grab a seat. Espresso 77 is pleased to offer a happy hour until 8pm for the event (featuring second drink for half price).
The evening will begin with JHAT veteran Kris Graves sharing images of recent photography.
Kris will be followed by Phil Ballman who will give a 10-minute talk about the history of jazz/hip hop in Queens.
The featured speaker Sherwin Banfield will then present his recent public sculptures celebrating local hip-hop legends.
An informal Q&A will follow.
The event is free, but the purchase of a beverage or food item is strongly encouraged in support of our venue partner Espresso 77.
