In partnership with Flushing Town Hall Artist Services, Queensboro Dance Festival hosts an interactive workshop specifically for dancers. Learn strategies to strengthen your writing approach for grant applications and production proposals in a collaborative, supportive environment. Get tips and feedback from guest experts in the field (and have them get to know our Queens dance community)!
Come to the workshop to:
- strengthen your current mission or artist statement, or draft your first one
- learn what grantors and panels look for in a strong grant application
- learn what venues or producers look for in a production proposal
- see how grant writing works in tandem with a project budget (which we focus on in our Professional Development Part Two!)
We'll also have a chance to share each other's grant writing experiences and learn from one another!
