Artist Statement

Drawn with ink and marker, this autobiographical comic is about two friends--or rather one of them--commiserating how they met, causing the other to experience a tidal wave of embarrassment. However, the comic ends with the heartwarming message that in spite of social blunders due to lack of self-confidence, friendships can still blossom.
