Flamenco Latino: The 2022 Más Allá Series presents two concerts at Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning (JCAL), one family show at PS 212Q, and 4 livestreamed performances from Flamenco Latino. Each JCAL concert features different repertoires: on Thursday Aug. 4th, we present choreography and collaborations with Paige "Queen TuT" Stewart of The Kingdom Dance Company; on Friday Aug. 5th we present Flamenco and Tap Improvisation with Omar Edwards, Flamenco Latino dancers Aurora Reyes, Julissa Cadenillas, Natalia Starkova, Malia Fay Vazquez; and musicians Basilio Georges, Danny Rivera and Hamed Traore. Four livestreamed short performances illustrating the shaping of select repertoire will be presented by Flamenco Latino, followed by a final watch party of edited videos of all 2022 Más Allá Series performances.
