Taplife Hero Foundation presents the 9th Anniversary of its National Tap Dance Day Celebration on May 24, 2025 in Queens, NY. This free public event will honor the art of tap dance featuring live performances by world-renowned tap dancers, tap dance companies, students, & teachers. Attendees will also enjoy live music, a DJ, and a special collaboration between Singer/Songwriter Frank Persico and #Taplife Company. Shelby Kaufman, a current community leader in the tap dance community, will be honored as “a champion for tap dance”. Free tap dance classes will be offered to all attendees, led by Queens native Anthony Lo Cascio. This unique opportunity welcomes people of all ages and skill levels to learn the basics of tap dance from one of the best in the field.
