Opening reception for "Touch Jamaica," an exhibition of handmade paper relief sculptures cast from structures that represent different periods in the history of the neighborhood. The exhibition continues through October 31. Programs include a paper casting workshop on October 4th from 1 to 4, and a walking tour of sites I worked with (date tbd). A Touch Jamaica zine (including research photos and a site map) will be released at the opening.
